The Lighting Group exists 'to extend the Government s knowledge of the lighting industry and to promote better application of lighting technology'

Lighting Industry Federation provides occasional lunches and dinners for members of the group and also provides administrative support including the funding of two part-time research assistants who work for the group.

Mr Mark Burr, Research Assistant to Joan Walley MP, is employed by Lighting Industry Federation to provide secretariat for the group.
