Max Boot is an editorial features editor at the Wall Street Journal and author of The Savage Wars of Peace: Small Wars and the Rise of American Power. According to Publisher's Weekly, which reviewed the book, he "has a reputation as a fire-breathing polemicist and unabashed imperialist."
