Holcomb Environmental Services was a sham air-testing company owned by Lawrence C. Holcomb. It had staff other than Larry Holcomb; the most notable was Joe Pedelty.

The company specialised (not exclusively) in testing airports and airlines during flight using a Portable Air Sampling System (PASS) which fitted into a small case which could be carried in the main compartment small-luggage rack.

Holcomb and Pedelty also provide 'expert witness services' for the Tobacco Institute
