Match.com (Match.com, LP) describes itself as the "world's largest online dating, relationships, singles & personals service". [1]

Match.com, which was launched in 1995, is an operating business of the Nasdaq listed IAC/InterActiveCorp (IACI).

In January 2006, it launched Chemistry.com, a "new service from Match.com" to help "improve your chances at finding that special someone today!" [2][3]

MindFindBind

In January 2006, Match.com launched a new "premium service called 'MindFindBind'™ that includes relationship and dating information based on the insights of Phillip C. McGraw ('Dr. Phil')." [4][5]

"MindFindBind™ is a Web-based program designed to educate singles about the ins and outs of dating and relationships. It includes more than 50 new Internet-only video segments with Dr. Phil that aim to inspire and enlighten, workshops that are a lot more fun than work, an occasional audio blog, and provocative dating tips and techniques. Participants can move through the program at their own pace, in the privacy of their own homes," according to Match.com. [6]

Video News Releases

Match.com has used video news releases to promote its business. One B-roll produced by D S Simon Productions for Match.com was "to inform viewers about the new program and Dr. Phil’s involvement. The story aired on CNN Headline News, Fox News Channel, MSNBC and local markets including WPIX in New York, WGN in Chicago and KYW in Philadelphia." [7]
