'''Michael Rubin''', a specialist on [[Iran]], [[Iraq]], and [[Afghanistan]], has served as editor of the ''[[Middle East Quarterly]]'' since 2004. After leaving the [[Washington Institute for Near East Policy]], Rubin was a visiting and, later, a resident scholar at the [[American Enterprise Institute]] (AEI) (July through December September 2002).
