Founded by [[conservative ]] journalist [[M. Stanton Evans]] in 1977, the '''National Journalism Center''' (NJC) is, in the words now a program of current director Ken Grubbs[[Young America's Foundation]], Jrand has successfully trained more than 1700 journalists since its conception.NJC places interns primarily in Washington, "a juggernaut for creating journalists." The NJC provides training DC in both mainstream media outlets and assistance in finding jobs to conservative journalists.
