Geoff Mulgan is the founder of Demos. In September 2003 he was appointed head of policy at No 10 in addition to his role as head of the Strategy Unit in the Cabinet Office. [1]

"Geoff Mulgan was the Chief Executive of the Young Foundation until May 2011 and is now the Chief Executive of NESTA (National Endowment for Science Technology and the Arts). Between 1997 and 2004 Geoff had various roles in the UK government including director of the Government's Strategy Unit and head of policy in the Prime Minister's office." [1]
