Phyllis Schlafly served as President of the "Eagle Forum [1998], which has led the pro-family movement since 1972; author, sixteen books, topics include family and feminism, nuclear strategy, child care, education, and a new system to teach children to read called First Reader; monthly newsletter, The Phyllis Schlafiy Report since 1967; monthly publication, Education Reporter since 1986; syndicated columnist, appears in 100 newspapers; daily radio commentaries, heard on 270 stations; weekly radio talk show on education is heard weekly on 45 stations; attorney at law; Ronald Reagan Presidential appointee, Commission on the Bicentennial of the U.S. Constitution; has testified before 50 congressional and state legislative committees on constitutional, national defense, and family issues; Phi Beta Kappa graduate, Washington University; J.D., Washington University Law School; received Master's in Political Science from Harvard University; 1992 Illinois Mother of the Year; listed in who's who in America; mother of six. St. Louis, Missouri."
