Josh Wolf is a San Francisco blogger and journalist.
He is a graduate of San Francisco State University with a degree in Psychology. He has been a contributor to his onw blog, Indymedia and the Haight Ashbury Beat. A biographical note states that he is "employed as the Outreach Director for peralta.TV, a department of the Peralta Community College District, and I am also an SAT teacher for the Kaplan Test preparation company." [1]

Imprisoned for Refusing to Handover Video to Grand Jury
Wolf was jailed on August 1, 2006 when he refused to testify or turn over unpublished video out-takes to a federal grand jury investigating a July, 2005 anti-G8 demonstration. [2] He was temporarily released on bail from the Dublin Federal Detentention Center on September 1, 2006 but ordered to return to prison on September 22nd pending a hearing before the entire 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
