{{Show badges| Climate change}}'''Annex I Parties''' refers to the industrialized countries which undertook to "return their greenhouse-gas emissions to 1990 levels by the year 2000" under Article 4.2 (a) and (b) of the [[United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change]]. They also adopted emission reduction targets for the 2008-12 period under the [[Kyoto Protocol]]. 

Annex I Parties are also referred to as 'Annex I countries' and more formally as 'Annex I Parties under the Kyoto Protocol to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change'.

Annex I Parties comprise the members of the [[OECD]], the European Union, and 14 countries with 'economies in transition'.
