Prior to joining RAND, he was Director of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies and Professor of Political Science and Sociology at the University of Arizona. Dr. Green has written widely on Middle East themes focusing on American Middle East policy, the role of religion in the region, inter-Arab relations, Iranian politics, and the Arab-Israeli conflict.
