In the 10pm news bulletin on November 25, 2005 the station incorporated an edited and revoiced segment from a video news release produced by D S Simon Productions for the Panasonic, Namco and Techno Source on high-tech gift ideas. The VNR was produced for Robin Raskin. [1]
In October 2004, CJR Daily reported that WLFL aired a VNR from the Bush administration's Department of Education, promoting the controversial No Child Left Behind policy. The VNR, which featured reporter-turned-flack Karen Ryan, ended with the line, "I'm Karen Ryan, reporting from Washington." [2]
