Tishman Speyer is a real estate operating and building company established in 1978 by Robert V. Tishman and Jerry I. Speyer.[1] According to the company website, "Tishman Speyer is one of the leading owners, developers, operators, and managers of first-class real estate in the world, having managed a portfolio of assets since its inception of over 116 million square feet and more than 92,000 residential units in major metropolitan areas across the United States, Europe, Latin America and Asia." [2] The company's corporate headquarters is located in New York City, NY.[3]

Ties to Pete Peterson's "Fix the Debt"

The Campaign to Fix the Debt is the latest incarnation of a decades-long effort by former Nixon man turned Wall Street billionaire Pete Peterson to slash earned benefit programs such as Social Security and Medicare under the guise of fixing the nation's "debt problem." Tishman Speyer is part of the Campaign to Fix the Debt as of February 2013.
