The 'Taylor' seems to be 'George H. Taylor' of the 'Oregon State University' (OSU). I will later check it better.

I have relocated this material from the Steven F. Hayward page for several reasons:

  • it refers repeatedly to a 'Taylor' - it seems this is a reference to someone other than Hayward and therefore doesnlt belong on a page about him;
  • the details of funding of PRI are most appropriately relocated to the PRI page - though given the size and formatting difficulties I would suggest best as a side page such as Foundation funding of PRI
  • I also edited out various comments speculating on various individuals and organisations. Material on these pages is going to be most useful if it sticks to being accurate and fair and avoids speculation.
