The Evangchr4 Trust is a 501(c)(4) tax-exempt nonprofit. According to documents filed with the IRS, its mission is "to develop, disseminate and apply Biblical principles to economics, politics and society as a whole in order to make the United States a country where spiritual and economic prosperity flourishes."[1]

The Washington Post described the trust as "a pastor outreach effort that gave nearly $1.2 million to CitizenLink, an advocacy arm of the conservative Christian group Focus on the Family. CitizenLink spent more than $2.5 million on ads on behalf of GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney and other Republicans in 2012."[2]
