Tala Dowlatshahi "is the US Representative of Reporters Without Borders (Reporters sans Frontieres)-the Paris-based media watchdog organization. She's a journalist who has worked with Amnesty International in London, The International Rescue Committee, and various other UN agencies in New York and Geneva. She has chronicled stories in Afghanistan, Colombia, Iran, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Turkey and Eastern Europe. She has also been featured on CNN International, Voice of America, Reuters, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Hoy Newspaper, Globo Television-Brazil, Counter-Spin-WBAI/Pacifica Radio New York, Media-Watch-Wisconsin Radio, WNUR-Chicago Radio, Radio America-Washington DC, KGO Radio for ABC News- San Francisco, Australian Broadcasting Corporation, The Disaster News Network, and in various humanitarian news programmes. She is an Associate member of the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the International Peace Academy, and the Association for European Journalists." [1]

In 2003 she as a Public Information Specialist, BCPR for the United Nations Development Programme. [2]
