Stuart Roy
Stuart Roy is a media consultant and adviser to Progress for America, a "conservative issue advocacy organization." [1]
Roy served as House Majority Leader Tom DeLay's (R-Texas) communications director where he "defended his boss against three ethics rebukes ... three indictments of former aides, two elections and a district attorneyâ??s investigation in Texas." In December 2004, Roy joined the DCI Group, a well connected Republican lobbying and public affairs shop. The Hill reported December 15, 2004: "Roy will help transform the firm into a one-stop shop for corporations and other entities in need of lobbyists and media advisers."
Roy previously served as communications director of the National Republican Senatorial Committee and as deputy assistant secretary of labor during George W. Bush's first year in office.Ex-DeLay
