Smoke-Free Gaming of Colorado is a grass-roots coalition of Colorado residents and workers who support the passage of laws protecting people from exposure to secondhand smoke in gambling establishments including casinos, bingo halls, dog and horse tracks, poker tournaments and off-track betting venues.
The head of the coalition is Stephanie Steinberg.
Smoke-Free Gaming of Colorado successfully influenced the state legislature to enact a provision closing a loophole in Colorado's workplace smoking law that continued to allow smoking in casinos. The new provision goes into effect January 1, 2008.
