Oman Power and Water Procurement Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Electricity Holding Company (EHC) which is 100% owned by the Government of the Sultanate of Oman.[1]

The company has proposed the Al-Duqum Independent Water and Power Project, a 1000 megawatt coal-fired power station[2], which would be reliant on imported coal.
