Michael Parker

Michael Parker apointed a non-executive director of Invensys "in May 2006 and became the Senior Independent Director in December 2006. Mr Parker has been Group Chief Executive of BNFL, the nuclear company, since 2003. Previously he was President and Chief Executive Officer of The Dow Chemical Company in Midland, Michigan, US from November 2000 to December 2002 and had been a member of the board of directors of Dow since 1995. He has recently been appointed Chairman of Liverpool´s new regeneration company, Liverpool Vision."
