Michael P. Cohen

His "books are The Pathless Way: John Muir and American Wilderness (1984), The History of the Sierra Club 1892–1970 (1988), and A Garden of Bristlecone Pines: Tales of Change in the Great Basin (1998). More recently he has embarked on a study of the groundings of ecocriticism in the historically changing ideas of ecology, evolutionary theory, and the politics of wilderness. He is a visiting professor of literature and environment at the University of Nevada, Reno." [1]
