Maureen Martin is senior fellow for legal affairs for the Heartland Institute, a conservative, "free market" think tank.

Martin is a lawyer who, according to her Heartland bio, "has defended clients in class action litigation, antitrust cases, environmental enforcement cases, Superfund, commercial disputes, property rights cases, storm water and drainage issues, and insurance coverage litigation."
