Biography
Matthew L. Myers is an attorney in Washington DC and was a partner at Asbill, Junkin & Myers in Washington, D.C. (1994) (NLJ 5/23/94). He has been involved in anti-smoking activities for many years.(Los Angeles Times 3/26/94) He was staff director of the Coalition on Smoking OR Health in 1990.(NJL 5/23/94) Myers received copy of David A. Kessler's February 25, 1994 letter to the Coalition on Smoking OR Health. He believes Brown & Williamson/Merrell Williams documents "blow the lid off" any argument for attorney-client privilege". "They confirm that lawyers allowed themselves to be used, and indeed assisted the industry."(NLJ 5/23/94).
