Mark Hirsch
Mark Hirsch founded MediaHitman, a Florida based producer and distrubutor of video news releases(VNRs), in May 2001.
Prior to that, according to a biographical note, Hirsch worked for five years as "a registered representative in the investment banking industry, selling IPO shares to high net worth clients" and then with an unspecified Beverly Hills PR agency. "In 1997, Mark joined a broadcast publicity firm as a senior executive, where he planned and executed over 450 Video News Release campaigns for many of the World’s leading brands," the biographical note states. Hirsch Responds to The Outing of Fake News
Following the release f the Center for Media and Democracy's Fake TV News: Widespread and Undisclosed in April 2006, Hisrch posted a note in response to a post on the blog of Free Press's Tim Karr. "Better to light a candle than curse the darkness. Progressives could do a lot of good by creating and distributing VNR's to TV stations," he wrote. [2]
