Josh Friedman "is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and director of International Programs at Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. He has covered conflicts in the Balkans, Beirut, Israel and Africa. He is past chairman and a board member of the Committee to Protect Journalists. Friedman was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for international reporting in 1985 for his coverage of the famine in Ethiopia." [1]
