John Stodder

John Stodder was a former aide to Douglas R. Dowie in the Los Angeles office of the PR firm, Fleishman-Hillard. On Tuesday, May 16, 2006 he and Dowie were convicted of multiple counts of "conspiracy and fraud in a scheme to overbill city taxpayers for public relations consulting services."[1]

Following the verdict, Stodder has continued to maintain his innocence on his own weblog.[2]

The biographical summary on Stodder's blog states that he has worked for 25 years "in journalism, politics and public relations, mostly in Los Angeles."[3]
