John C. Cushman, III "is the chairman of Cushman & Wakefield, Inc., a global real estate services firm.

"Mr. Cushman has completed many of the largest office leasing and sales transactions in the U.S., including several hundred billions of dollars in transactions in Southern California alone.

"Mr. Cushman opened Cushman & Wakefield’s -www.cushmanwakefield.com- Los Angeles office in 1967 after beginning his career with the firm in New York City in 1963.

"He and his twin brother then founded Cushman Realty Corporation in 1978. Cushman Realty Corporation merged with Cushman & Wakefield in 2001. That year Cushman became chairman of Cushman & Wakefield, Inc.

"Mr. Cushman is President-Elect of the Boy Scouts of America, a board member of the California Region I Homeland Security Advisory Council, the Los Angeles World Affairs Council, the Los Angeles Sports Council, and a trustee of the Urban Land Institute.

"Mr. Cushman serves as Director and Chairman of Cushman Winery Corporation, owner of Zaca Mesa Winery. Mr. Cushman, 62, also serves on the boards of Callaway Golf Company, Culinary Holdings, Inc., Cushman & Wakefield, Inc., D.A. Cushman Realty Corporation, Inglewood Park Cemetery, La Quinta Corporation and La Quinta Properties, Inc." [1]
