James S. Denton Consulting is a Washington, D.C.-based company that has been hired by the government's of the Russian Federation, Serbia, Montenegro and Hungary.[1]

In November 2004, O'Dwyers PR Daily reported that the Russian Information Agency (RIA) had hired the company "to improve economic, political and cultural ties between Russia and the U.S." The RIA monitors foreign media and has a newteork of correspondents in 40 countries.

According to O'Dwyer's the contract includes organising seminars in Moscow and D.C. for American and Russian opinion-leaders, placing articles in online publications, organizing a trip for two members of Russia's Federal Assembly to the U.S. and creating speech opportunities for "Russian officials and experts at important media-attractive sites".[2]
