International Water Centre (IWC) "head office is located in the Brisbane CBD. In addition to this, IWC operates through its network of member universities in Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane. The Brisbane office acts as the facilitator, co-ordinator and project manager for the Joint Venture.

"In 2007 IWC established the ‘IWC Africa’ node, at the Monash Sustainability Institute at the Johannesburg campus in South Africa. The strategic plan for the node includes a strong focus on education and training initiatives as well as water research. In 2007 a Research Director, Professor Hamanth Kasan, was appointed to advise on the development of the IWC Africa node and to recruit a Research Manager." [1]

Their partners are Healthy Waterways Partnership, International Riverfoundation, and Queensland State Government. [2]
