George Savell is a well known political lobbyist who has spent most of his working life representing the interests of those engaged in agriculture and mining at a senior level. He has served on numerous government committees and inquiries and over a 36-year period formed a close association with a wide spectrum of state and federal ministers and parliamentary members of all persuasions. In representing agriculture and mining he has had considerable experience in matters affecting indigenous people including land rights, native title, Aboriginal heritage and social questions. [1]
