George Phillips is a member of the Borad of Advisers of American Defense International.
According to the company website Phillips "has 30 years of experience working with the United States Marine Corps as an enlisted man, officer, and civilian. While in the service, he became an expert in Marine Corps ammunition requirements and management, serving on the Joint Ordnance Commander's Executive Committee, the Department of Defense Explosive Safety Board, and several other DoD and Joint level forums. From 1978 to 1997, he provided support to the Marine Corps ground ammunition community at all levels, starting out with management of the Ammunition Supply Point in Okinawa to eventually holding the position of Deputy Program Manager, and then Program Manager of Marine Corps ammunition. As Program Manager, Mr. Phillips directed the development of the Ammunition Automated Budget Planning System as well as directing the development, procurement, delivery and in-service use of all Marine Corps ammunition items. In addition to program management, he also has expertise in technical matters relating to ammunition and explosives safety and established the Marine Corps Explosive Safety Program. Mr. Phillips continues to support the military and commercial ammunition community through his consulting firm, George J. Phillips Associates, Inc."
