Sir Deryck C. Maughan "is the Managing Director and Chairman of Asia at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. He serves as the Managing Director at Nikko Securities Co., Ltd. Sir Maughan served as an Executive President of Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc., (formerly, Salomon Inc.) since 1993 to October 2004. He was also a Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Nikko Citigroup Limited. Sir Maughan started at the U.K. Treasury in 1969, moved to Goldman Sachs ten years later, ... and then joined Salomon Brothers. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Salomon Brothers Inc. since May 1992 until October 2004. Sir Maughan served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Citigroup International. He was elected as a Tokyo Branch Manager at Salomon Brothers Asia, Limited in August 1986 and in January 1988 as the Chairman. Sir Maughan served as a Director of Salomon Brothers Inc. and New York City Investment Fund and Director of Citigroup International, Cross-Marketing Group, and Citigroup Japan. He served as a Director of Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. since 1991 and Citigroup Inc.
