Deedee Halleck

DeeDee Halleck "is a media activist and professor of communication at the University of California at San Diego. She is co-founder of Paper Tiger Television and Deep Dish Television. Her film, "The Gringo in Mañanaland," was screened at many film festivals, including Venice and London. She is currently working on a video version of the Democracy Now radio program to cover the Democratic and Republican Party conventions as part of the Independent Media Center movement." [1] She is married to Joel Kovel.
