Crook Creek Farms is a company operating out of Laurel Hill, FL. It was the center of a 2011 controversy over sewage sludge in Baker. Residents report a smell so bad they thought an animal had died. They found that the smell resulted from Crook Creek Farms applying Class B Biosolids (sewage sludge) to land.[1]
