Crib-Air

In this letter written in 2000, the product manager of an air filtering device called "Crib-Air" writes to the R.J. Reynolds tobacco company seeking the company's endorsement of the device as a way to help smoking parents feel less guilty in continuing to smoke in the house around their sleeping babies. The woman writer writes, "Because parents enjoy the pleasure of smoking we would like to make the experience guilt free by allowing their babies to have a smoke free environment in their cribs while parents may still continue to enjoy themselves."
