Clair H. Hershey
- "Clair H. Hershey has degree in plant breeding from Cornell University, USA. He was a cassava breeder at the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) in Colombia for 13 years. Since 2002 he has been editor of Plant Breeding News, an electronic newsletter sponsored by [the Global Partnership Initiative for Plant Breeding Capacity Building (GIPB)] and Cornell. During 2009 and 2010, he is a consultant to GIPB based in Rome, working on several projects including developing an e-learning course in pre-breeding, and a comparative analysis of plant breeding and seed delivery systems in developing countries, to develop models for policy advocacy."[1]
