Chesapeake Strategies Group (CSG) describes itself as "a multinational security and investigative firm comprised of professionals with extensive security experience." Its website lists affiliated offices in Paris, Beijng, Tokyo, Qatar, and Kuwait. [1]

Clients

The firm's website states mentions "Bechtel Infrastructure, Exxon Mobil, and high profile executives and entertainment personalities, Al Pacino, Russell Crowe and General Norman Schwartzkopf" among its clients. [1]

CSG "has been active in protecting research facilities from animal-rights activists," reported Mother Jones magazine. [2] A December 2004 news story stated that "Tim Ward of the Maryland-based Chesapeake Strategies Group Inc. ... has worked for eight years with animal research facilities." [3]

In 2002, CSG "won a $ 125,000 contract from the [U.S.] General Services Administration for recreational, hospitality, law enforcement, facilities, industrial and environmental services and products." [4]

CSG "was listed on a 2005 line-up of Defense Department contractors," according to Mother Jones. [2]

Services

CSG lists its areas of expertise as "international intelligence collection, threat assessment, special investigations, due diligence, technical and physical security, event planning and management, security training programs, and executive protection." [1]
