Other recent work includes an analysis of Prospects data to determine the effect of teacher race/ethnicity on student achievement in mathematics and reading; an evaluation of the National Science Foundation’s Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation Program (LSAMP) involving 27 alliances of approximately 200 institutions nationwide; and a study of effective schools in two large urban school districts. A former associate editor of the journal Educational Evaluation and Policy Analysis (EEPA), she has edited a number of special issues of other journals and authored and co-authored several journal articles, book chapters, and monographs on the topics of her research. She is currently writing a book on effective schools for low-income, urban students." [1]
