"The Barbara Blackman Temenos Foundation was established in 1997 by Barbara Blackman, in order to bring speakers from the Temenos Academy to Australia . Each visiting lecturer makes a number of presentations at different venues such as the Art Gallery of New South Wales, the National Gallery of Victoria, and so on. Past lecturers comprise John Lane (1997), Satish Kumar (1998), Keith Critchlow (1999), Clement Salaman (2000), Kapila Vatsyayan and Grevel Lindop (2001), Jack Herbert (2002), Ihab Hassan (2003), Diana Cilento (2004), Jeremy Naydler (2006), Andrew Wolpert (2007) and Paul Stiles (2008), Andrew Wolpert (2009).. The Barbara Blackman-Temenos Foundation lecturer for 2010 will be Andrew Harvey. His first lecture will be given in Sydney on October 2nd."[1]
