Andrea Bartoli
Andrea Bartoli "is the founding director of the Center for International Conflict Resolution and has been a member of the faculty at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs since 1994. Between 1992 and 1999 he was also the associate director of the Italian Academy for Advanced Studies at Columbia University. Before coming to Columbia, Bartoli was a lecturer at the University of Rome–Tor Vergata (1987–92) and the director of the Center for the Study of Social Programs (1986–92). He is the coeditor of Somalia, Rwanda and Beyond: The Role of International Media in Wars and International Crisis (Italian Academy for Advanced Studies 1995).
"Bartoli's primary interests focus on the emergence of peace and its sustainability, through both preventive and systemic approaches. His most recent publication is "Christianity and Peacebuilding" in Religion and Peacebuilding, edited by H. Coward and G. Smith (State University of New York Press 2004).“ [1]
