Ali Alfoneh

Ali Alfoneh is a Resident Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI). On 11 October 2011, he appeared as commentator on BBC Newsnight discussing the implications about the alleged plot to assassinate the Saudi ambassador to the United States[citation needed]. He agreed with the notion that this plot was consistent with the behavior of elements within the "Iranian regime"[citation needed]. Alfoneh is of Iranian descent, but grew up in Denmark[citation needed].
