Biographical Information

"Adriana is one of the founding members of Halloran Philanthropies, helping to define the mission and goals of the organization and currently serves as an advisor with special focus on India and Brazil. Passionate about social innovation and women empowerment, Adriana has added a solid emphasis on community economic development to Halloran Philanthropies. She has been deeply involved with Financial Inclusion in Latin America, Rural Community Enterprise Development in India and Women’s Cooperative in Mexico. Prior to Halloran, Adriana launched a women’s empowerment program in Angolain association with a local school. She also worked for World Vision Brazil, assisting the development and evaluation of national strategies for the organization. Adriana holds a BA in International Relations and a MS in International Community Economic Development. Adriana is a native of Brazil living with her husband Brian in Brooklyn, NY."[1]
