Acton School of Business
The Acton School of Business was founded by the Jeff Sandefer, president of the energy investment firm Sandefer Capital Partners.
Acton's MBAE (MBA or Entrepreneurship) program is taught by "entrepreneur-teachers" offering students a "personal introduction" to employers listed on a 66-strong company list. According to Acton's website, "For each of the firms on our Company List, a partner, executive, or alumnus of the program has pledged to personally shepherd a student through the recruiting process if asked to do so by a professor."[1]
Acton takes its name from Lord Acton, a nineteenth century British historian and philosopher.
The physical address listed on the Acton MBAE website[2] is identical to the address listed for Sandefer Capital Partners on a 2004 media release[3]
