Orion Energy, LLC, also known as Orion Energy Group, LLC[1] is a developer of large-scale wind energy in the United States. Founded in 1998, in December, 2006 it was acquired by BP Alternative Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of BP, one of the world’s largest energy companies.[2][3][4] Orion Energy's Web site does not reveal its ownership by BP.[5]

Staff

The founder and CEO of Orion Energy Group is Michael A. Haas, who is also the founder and president of the board for the nonprofit group Alliance for Climate Education. [6]
