Hi. Thanks for your note. I'm doing links between organisations - starting with those connected with parliament and working outwards. Secretlondon 15:58 4 Jan 2004 (EST)

Hi, Gangle. Thanks for your contributions to the SourceWatch. I appreciate the work you do, and I'm wondering if you'd like me to modified your user permissions to make you a "sysop." This would give you the ability to do a few things you haven't been able to do previously as a registered user. You can delete pages in their entirety, and you can block other users. Of course, you would be expected to use these powers wisely and with restraint, but I've seen enough of your contributions to feel confident that you would do so. Please let me know if you'd like me to do this. --Sheldon Rampton 16:36, 6 Apr 2004 (EDT)

Sure. Thanks for the thanks ;-) --Gangle 10:22, 7 Apr 2004 (EDT)

OK, I've made you a sysop. As for your question about backups of the SourceWatch, we've got that pretty well covered. If you want to download the entire SourceWatch, you can do it here. --Sheldon Rampton 11:52, 21 Apr 2004 (EDT)

--- Gangle -- just in case you missed this addition I just made to how to research front groups --- suspect there will be plenty of UK material no one has touched to date -- cheers --Bob Burton 00:56, 14 Aug 2004 (EDT)

In August 2004 UCSF, in conjunction with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and the Mayo Clinic launched a beta test site containing 600,000 pages of previously difficult to access British American Tobacco (BAT) documents held in BAT's Guildford Depository in the UK. You can check it out at http://bat.library.ucsf.edu

Hey Gangle, I reckon it is more appropriate to say that Spiked Online is a sister group, running in parallel as part of the LM network, rather than a subsidiary of IoI. What do you think? Also, someone has deleted the Association of British Drivers link from the RCP and LM group pages. I've had a look around but can't find anything concrete to warrant their re-entry. I did find a rebuttal of this link from the ABD from 2000 though: Brian Gregory, "1 + 1 = 7", On the Road issue 37, page 5

What do you think? Laurence ---

Gangle could you drop me an email -- might be a chance to catch up in November cheers --Bob Burton 17:09, 28 Sep 2004 (EDT)

James Heartfield

Hi Gangle, I think the James Heartfield article may have been vandalised by Mr. Heartfield himself. Please see the talk page there for details. Laurence Durnan 17:18, 22 Dec 2004 (EST)

Campaign for Fighting Diseases

Hi Gangle - this looks fascinating - great lead to open up cheers --Bob Burton 19:32, 23 Jan 2005 (EST)

Congresspedia

Hi Gangle,

I'd just like to say hello. I hope you find Congresspedia to be as compelling to add to as SourceWatch. I'm always open to suggestions and feedback on a more conceptual level, too. Don't hesitate to drop me a line. -Conor Kenny Apr. 26, 2006

Hi

Hi Gangle, nice to see you online again, hope all goes well with you. cheers --Bob Burton 00:42, 9 Oct 2006 (EDT)

New SourceWatch admin group

Gangle,

For some reason I couldn't find your email in the internal system, but as a sysop I wanted to make sure to invite you to a new Yahoo group we've setup to discuss SourceWatch administration.

You can join-up here (we require approval to keep spammers and troublemakers off the group).

cheers, --Conor Kenny 15:17, 13 June 2007 (EDT)
