Thomas J. Healey
Thomas J. Healey "Adjunct Lecturer in Public Policy, is an Advisory Director of Goldman Sachs & Co. At the Kennedy School his research centers on corporate governance and K-12 education reform. He joined Goldman Sachs in 1985 to create Real Estate Capital Markets and became a partner in 1988. He founded the Pension Services Group in 1990. Before joining Goldman Sachs, he was Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Domestic Finance under former President Ronald Reagan. Prior to that he was head of Corporate Finance at Dean Witter Reynolds. He graduated from Georgetown University in 1964 and from Harvard Business School in 1966. In 1967, he was a recipient of a Sheldon Traveling Fellowship from Harvard. Healey is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Counselor of Real Estate. He speaks and writes frequently on such investment-related topics as global pension fund management, the growth of defined contribution plans, real estate, alternative investments, soft dollars, and Social Security."
