Karl Rove trivia: check out top of this list.

According to Sam Dolnick, Associated Press Writer, Wed Jun 22,11:21 PM ET, Rove said the Democratic Party made the mistake of calling for "moderation and restraint" after the terrorist attacks. "Conservatives saw what happened to us on 9/11 and said we will defeat our enemies. Liberals saw what happened to us and said we must understand our enemies."

and once again, liberals were proven to have had the correct and appropriate view of, and plan for, the situation at hand. The military approach, with its proclaimed failure to understand, continues to fail, again.

Anonymous user IP 69.140.162.34 posted the following, which not yet true, may well be ... however, proof required by means of a reliable source:

In 2003, Rove "outed" an undercover CIA agent as a retaliation for her husband's role in refuting the White House claim that Nigeria was producing Uranium for Iraq. Rove was implicated and charged with the crime of Treason by the US Atty General in 2005.
Follow up: Anonymous user IP 69.140.162.34 has posted this time that Rove is under federal investigation. Although the situation has not progressed to that point, and may well come to pass, he is not yet under investigation .. or been fired. Doesn't anybody listen to Fox News? .... Surely they'd know, right? Artificial Intelligence 12:25, 13 Jul 2005 (EDT)

The quote (not meme :), "As people do better, they start voting like Republicans - unless they have too much education and vote Democratic, which proves there can be too much of a good thing." is generally attributed to Rove. referenced to "The Daily Texan" of 19 March 2001; unconfirmed.

One "source" is that the quote, among other places it shows up, is on Michael Moore daily calendar; also on the Karl Rove card in the 55 Most Wanted Hawks.

A search of the "Daily Texan" online version for March 19, 2001, doesn't bring up any articles for Rove.

Can say, though, that the date is probably close, as this website cites the Rove quote on July 12, 2001.

My best guess is that it was -- perhaps -- in the print edition of the paper but has been endlessly repeated since. ;@} Artificial Intelligence 10:23, 28 Jul 2005 (EDT)

The quote is from a telephone interview with Rove that was referenced in an article in The New Yorker in February of 2001.
