Sheldon/anyone else -- have been trying to get the format right on the reference to the Jeff Mapes article -- the "Nader getting support from unlikely voters: conservative groups hope to draw votes from Democratic candidate Sen. John Kerry" reference doesn't work like it should no matter what I do -- is this a problem caused by wiki not recognising the xml suffix? or is it something simple I'm doing wrong? - --Bob Burton 21:03, 13 Jul 2004 (EDT)

Bob, it looks to me like you had a minor brain freeze. You put the URL after the article title rather than in front of the article within the brackets. That's why it wasn't working. When I put the URL and title in the right order, they worked fine. Also, when dealing with long titles like this which are actually a title and subtitle separated by colons, I prefer to end the hyperlink before the colon. I've been told that this displays better on some web browsers. --Sheldon Rampton 21:15, 13 Jul 2004 (EDT)

-- yep, simple fix -- looks like its time for a coffee break :)--Bob Burton 21:32, 13 Jul 2004 (EDT)
