Stanley F. Druckenmiller "is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Duquesne Capital Management, L.L.C., an investment advisory firm with approximately $8 billion in assets under management. Mr. Druckenmiller is widely regarded as one of the preeminent money managers in the world.

"In addition to his role at Duquesne Capital Management, which he founded in 1981, Mr. Druckenmiller was a Managing Director at Soros Fund Management LLC from 1988 to 2000. During this time, he was the lead portfolio manager for the Quantum Fund N.V. as well as a series of other investment funds which had at their peak assets exceeding $22 billion.

"Prior to joining Soros Fund Management, Mr. Druckenmiller was with The Dreyfus Corporation where he developed and ran the best performing mutual fund in the industry from its date of inception to his departure from Dreyfus.

"Mr. Druckenmiller is Chairman of the Board of The Harlem Children's Zone. He is on the Board of Directors of The Children's Scholarship Fund, the Board of Overseers of Memorial Sloan Kettering and serves on the Investment Committee for Bowdoin College .

Druckenmiller sits on the board of the Environmental Defense Fund and yet has invested roughly $200 million into Massey Energy, a company that is a leading practitioner of mountaintop removal mining, has little regard for Mine Safety and Health Administration regulations leading to the the Upper Big Branch Mine Disaster, and has a CEO, Don Blankenship, who is an outspoken climate change denier.[1] Massey has a 6% stake in Duquesne Capital Management[2] which is controlled by Stanley Druckenmiller.[1]
