The Philadelphia Society was founded in 1964 by Don Lipsett. Other people involved at the start of the Philadelphia Society were Milton Friedman, Russell Kirk, Frank S. Meyer, and Wilmoore Kendall [1] The Philadelphia Society is a membership organization of educators, journalists, business and professional leaders, and clergy. [2]
